WHEN WILL HTA CAMPUSES REOPEN AND RESUME NORMAL CLASSES?
On March 24th, Superintendent Christina Kishimoto announced that school facilities will remain closed to students through April 30th. This decision was made based on guidance from health officials and elected leaders. HTA will continue to pursue answers during this period of closure in order to provide our students, parents, and community with up-to-date information.
IS HTA STILL ACCEPTING NEW APPLICANTS FOR THE 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR?
Yes, enrollment is currently open and will remain open until July 1st. Attending an Info Session is required in order to be granted access to the enrollment portal. While typically done in person, we will be hosting virtual Info Sessions on Zoom at the end of April. For more information on our enrollment process, please click here.
DOES HTA HAVE A PLAN TO ENSURE THE CONTINUITY OF LEARNING?
HTA's inherent blended learning academic approach enables us to transition to a virtual instruction model that is in compliance with the Hawaii State Department of Education's guidelines. If you are an HTA community member, you may access detailed information regarding our virtual learning schedule via our online HonuHub portal.
HOW CAN I SUPPORT MY CHILD DURING THIS TIME?
HTA recognizes that these are uncertain and trying times for our students, families, and community. We also know that obstacles that can arise when working from home. In light of this, we have compiled a list of resources and suggestions that HTA learning coaches can access via our HonuHub portal.
