Complete Online EnrollmentRequired enrollment forms and documents must be scanned and uploaded for review to gain conditional enrollment status. Read more below. See a list of required documents here.
|
Approval Process (Pre-Lottery)
Our enrollment process is done entirely online in HonuHub, our Student Information System. Once all required enrollment forms and documents have been submitted, all forms and documents will be reviewed within 5 business days and you will be notified via email if corrections need to be made. Failure to correct errors AND receive approval of all enrollment forms and documents by 12:00pm on March 5, 2020 will result in your child not being included in the lottery. After the lottery, families will still be able to submit enrollment forms and documents for review, however, "conditional enrollment" status will be dependent upon space availability.
Lottery
To ensure that your child is included in HTA’s public lottery for school year 2020-2021, enrollment forms and required documents submitted must be reviewed AND approved by 12:00pm on March 5, 2020. On March 6, 2020, a computerized lottery will be held if number of applicants exceed the number of spaces available. After the lottery, if it is determined that your child has been conditionally enrolled, you will be notified to complete final steps. Anyone who is not conditionally enrolled after the lottery will be time-stamped and automatically placed on the waitlist. Applicants on the wait list will be considered on a rolling basis as spaces become available.
Approval Process (Post-Lottery)
Submit all required enrollment forms and documents in HonuHub, our Student Information System. Once all required enrollment forms and documents have been submitted, all forms and documents will be reviewed within 5 business days and you will be notified via email if corrections need to be made. Once all forms and documents have been reviewed AND approved on a space available basis, you will receive an email notification that your child is now "conditionally enrolled".
Finalize Enrollment
Once "conditionally enrolled", you may pay the $35 Student Supply Fee (per student) and sign and accept your enrollment with HTA to finalize your child's enrollment for school year 2020-2021. Failure to sign and date the acceptance letter within 3 business days will result in your child losing their "conditionally enrolled" status and your space being awarded to the next student on the wait-list.
sTudent supply fee info
The Student Supply Fee covers basic classroom supplies including, but not limited to the following: markers, calculators, white boards, notebooks, pens, manipulatives, reading packets, lab kits, other single use academic supplies and an HTA t-shirt, which will be distributed by the end of 2020. At the K-8th grade level it also assists in subsidizing the supply fee charged to HTA from AcceleratEd. At the High School level it assists in subsidizing novels, course packets and other curricular materials. The $35/student fee is highly subsidized from the actual cost of student supplies. If a family qualifies for Free and Reduced lunch this fee is further subsidized. The supply fee is fully refundable should you choose to cancel your child’s enrollment at HTA next year prior to the first day of school.
If you are unable to pay the student supply fee at this time, you will be given the option to pay later and still be able to complete the enrollment process. The deadline to pay the student supply fee is July 2020 (date TBD).
Please note: The Student Supply Fee must be paid prior to participating in the computer loan program. In addition, students will not be able to participate in extracurricular activities such as field trips, dances, retreats, grad night, prom etc. until payment is received nor will they be able to use an on-site loaner computer should the student forget his/her laptop.
