HTA Kauai

HTA Kauai's new Lihue Learning Center is located at the Kukui Grove Executive Center, just one mile from Lihue Library and 1.5 miles from Kauai Community College.

HTA Kauai serves grades 6-12. Focusing on grades 6-12 on Kauai enables HTA’s teachers and administrators to dedicate increased resources to the program, such as twice weekly face-to-face instruction, more Learning Coach support and robust enrichment opportunities.

Additional intervention or enrichment may be assigned to the student, increasing the amount of face-to-face sessions. Attendance is required at scheduled virtual classes as well. Accurate attendance must be taken by the teacher or Learning Coach for all five days of the week.

Field Studies, Events, and Enrichment

There are frequent enrichment opportunities for students at all grade levels at HTA. Field studies are offered throughout the year, as well as clubs and various events.
