Additional intervention or enrichment may be assigned to the student, increasing the amount of face-to-face sessions. Attendance is required at scheduled virtual classes as well. Accurate attendance must be taken by the teacher or Learning Coach for all five days of the week.

Field Studies, Events, and Enrichment

There are frequent enrichment opportunities for students at all grade levels at HTA. The elementary division strives to offer a monthly Ohana Day, which is a community-building day for the whole family. The middle school and high school divisions also offer field studies and events for students that are both social and educational experiences. Each year, Oahu High School also holds a high school prom and senior graduation ceremonies.

Clubs, extracurricular activities, and other enrichment opportunities are available for all HTA students. Some of the clubs offered at HTA Oahu this school year have been:
  • Robotics Team
  • Ukulele Club
  • Chess Club
  • Coding Club
  • Media Club
  • Student Council
  • National Honor Society
