MATT ZITELLO • EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR • mzitello@myhta.org
I have been with HTA since its very early days and I could not be more passionate about our mission to address the unique strengths and challenges of every child. My career started with a love of geology so I initially became a science teacher. I joined the very young HTA in 2010 and was a founding member of the O‘ahu middle school teacher team before I transitioned into administration on the Waipahu campus. I was formally appointed to the executive director position in 2023. When I’m not working or with family and friends, you can find me surfing (mostly the North Shore), cooking, or traveling the world.
