We engage in partnerships that are dynamic, collaborative relationships with a mutual responsibility for building impact-focused connections. These partnerships integrate with coursework to connect our students and teachers to learning experiences and opportunities that initiate, extend, or enhance learning. Together with our partners, we create experiences for our teachers to implement innovative best practices and our students to become lifelong contributors in our local and global communities.

Service/CommunityThrough service and community learning, students practice interpersonal and intrapersonal skills by tackling real-life issues in our Hawaiian communities.
We commit to developing the dual nature of the relationship, which honors the fact that each member of our community has as much to learn as he or she has to give. |
Experts/Guest SpeakerWe commit to bringing visiting experts on-campus or sending our students off-campus to work with experts on projects or learning tasks. We carefully select these specialists in order to create breadth and depth to student learning.

Work-basedWork-based partnerships provide our students the opportunity to use their knowledge and skills in different career fields of passion and interest. This can be in the form of job shadowing, visits to work sites, internships, summer camps, summer jobs, or working on projects for a partner company.
